Local Gate Install

Recently, we attended a homeowner’s property where they were experiencing multiple faults with an ageing automatic gate system. Following a full assessment, we recommended and carried out a complete automation upgrade using a new BFT 24V low-voltage automation system.

The installation included:

• Two underground motors

• New control panel

• Safety photocell pair

• Five new remote activation fobs

Upgrading the existing outdated 230V system has restored the gates to full working order while also ensuring compliance with the latest safety regulations, including BS EN 12453, BS EN 12445, and the updated DHF TS 013-1:2025 guidelines issued by the Door & Hardware Federation (DHF).

The result is a safer, more reliable gate system and, most importantly, a very satisfied customer who no longer has concerns about being unable to access or leave their driveway.
